I'm a triathlete coming off a long injury. Nathan started me off on a strength/ rehab programme that was manageable to me and fitted in with my work life balance and around my other tri training. Since starting with Nathan he has made sure we've not aggravated injury and are doing all the training with the correct form through video analysis. I feel I've gained strength and my bike, swim and run is stronger for it. Nathan is a excellent coach and nothing is a hassle for him with always great feedback which is very encouraging. I look forward to continuing our work together.
I have been lifting in the gym for almost 20 years, as a key part of my training programme. However, one area that I have always been weak on is deadlifting and squats. I knew Nathan had a great background in swimming having competed together for GB Juniors and for medals at Senior Nationals. Allied to this Nathan has developed great expertise in powerlifting and this is something I felt I could really benefit from. We had an initial phone conversation, where I explained what I had been doing and where I wanted to be. Nathan then created a tailored programme for me, to work on the specific areas that I needed to improve. We had regular contact through each week to assess form and technique, with Nathan giving great tips and suggestions on how to improve. I can honestly say I have learnt more about technique and lifting in the last 4-5 weeks than I did during the years I was training full time. My technique has improved significantly, and I have a lot less pain in my lower back than before. I can’t wait for gyms to open up properly, so I can really push on the training, as Nathan has given me a great base.

After getting in contact with Nathan I had a good chat through where I was at and what I wanted to accomplish working with him. So far in the past few weeks my program has challenged me and pushed me in new ways to what I have experienced previously. Nathan's background in swimming is a great plus for me as he understands the full spectrum of training I have to undertake for the sport and where to best fit my land conditioning in with everything else. Feedback is extremely helpful after each session and the working relationship is definitely a two way street with me feeding back just as much to ensure I'm getting the most out of what's coming up next.
